Nolan was found outside when he was almost 3 months old. He was underweight, dirty, and alone. It took him a little bit to adjust to his foster home, but he came to love everyone there. He didn't however love adoption events. He would hide under his bed and wait for it to end. No one was interested in Nolan. Until one day a very special couple came in and fell in love with him. His adopters were warned it would take him some time to get used to a new home....and it did...it took him about 30 minutes to find his dad's lap and to know he was home. Nolan had 11 happy years full of love. Nolan's mom faced cancer not once but twice. The family faced not only health issues but dealt with the financial aftermath of the long fight with cancer, resulting in losing their home and their pets. Nolan went back into foster care, but he got lost for 5 weeks. Nolan returned to his original foster....but he was heartbroken and completely shut down. It took him time, but the sweet loving cat gradually started shining through. He loves rubs all over, but especially his face. He wants to be where you are, but if your busy he understands and will wait patiently. His foster mom has 4 other cats who don't want to share their person are not very nice to Nolan (but the dog is nice to him). Nolan is so ready to be loved and cared for. He has gotten through some very tough times....if you can offer him a lap to rest on and a heart to steal please contact us. Nolan is waiting for you!
